How the score listens

Twenty endangered creatures, twenty orchestral voices. Each voice changes form as the evening moves, and the guests decide when. By the Waltz, every creature is one part of a single orchestral piece.

Tap anything to start. The orchestra loads in the background.
Ari absent

Instruments are real sampled orchestra (the FluidR3 General MIDI set, loaded from gleitz.github.io), played and arranged live in your browser. This is a study of how the score behaves, not the recorded score.

State 1 animal voices are designed placeholders until field recordings are licensed. Links to real recordings and temp clips can be pasted into the settings at the top of the script.

Species and instrument pairings follow the Instrument Species Exploration v.2 (11 Sept 2026). Motifs, keys and tempos are illustrative.
